Flying to the UK?

Landing at Heathrow: Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station in London.
Landing at Gatwick: Take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station.

Once you have arrived in central London go to Euston Station from where you can board the Virgin West Coast service stopping at Oxenholme (Kendal), Penrith or Carlisle. Please check train details when buying your tickets.

Landing at Manchester: Take the train to Manchester Piccadilly Station and change onto a Virgin Train on the West Coast Mainline, London Euston to Glasgow, Scotland service. Or you can travel to some Cumbrian destinations from Manchester Airport on the Transpennine Express.

Carlisle, Dalston, Wigton, Aspatria, Maryport, Flimby, Workington, Harrington, Parton, Whitehaven, Corckle, St. Bees, Nethertown, Braystones, Sellafield, Seascale, Drigg, Ravenglass (Change here for Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway), Bootle, Silecroft, Millom, Green Road, Foxfield, Kirkby in Furness, Askham, Barrow in Furness, Roose, Dalton, Ulverston, Cark, Kents Bank, Grange over Sands, Arnside. The line continues on through to Silverdale and Carnforth in Lancashire.

Transpennine Express Manchester Airport to Barrow in Furness:
Barrow in Furness, Roose, Dalton, Ulverston, Cark, Kents Bank, Grange over Sands, Arnside and on to Manchester and Manchester Airport.
Transpennine Express Manchester Airport to Windermere:
Windermere, Staverley, Burnside, Kendal, Oxenholme then on to Lancaster, Preston Manchester and Manchester Airport.

Settle to Carlisle Line:
Carlisle, Armathwaite, Lazonby & Kirkoswald, Langwathby, Appleby, Kirkby Stephen, Garsdale, Dent and on over the spectacular Ribblehead viaduct to Settle in Lancashire.
