Skiddaw in the Lake District
Welcome to the EDGE Guide to Skiddaw in the Lake District.
Location: NY 260921 Sheet 90.
Height: 3054ft/931m.
Dominating the northern skyline of Keswick, Skiddaw is one of the highest of the fells in the Lake District and offers some of the very best views over the town and Derwent Water to its south and Bassenthwaite to the west.
Though the walking is steep it is still within most fit people's scope. However, care should be taken on some of the paths.
While here you might also want to visit Little Man, another pike on the slopes
of Skiddaw and seen right of centre in the photograph above.
