Scafell is the highest point in England and is an established training ground for those aiming at the Himalayas and the Andes.

Some of the best views in the Lake District can be seen while on Scafell Pike - not just Wast Water, the other pikes and gullies on this range are also worth seeing.

Scafell Pike is not to be taken lightly. If you are not an experienced climber you should be careful while on the mountain. Don't get carried away and try something beyond your capabilities as there are some places here that are best left to experts.
