Above the village of Boot, off the road over Hardknott Pass and not far from Dalegarth Station the eastern terminus of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway are five stone circles known collectively as Burnmoor.

Brat's Hill is the largest of them at 96ft/30m in diameter and is accessible from the path from Boot. Further up Eskdale Moor are the two twin circles of White Moss and Low Longrigg.
