Cumbria and the Lake District
The Spire of St Mary's church in Ambleside.
Designed by the famous architect Sir George Gilbert Scott and built in the
early 1850's.
It was not one of his favourite buildings(!) he regarded St
Pancras Station, London of 1868 as his best.
