St Anne's Chapel, Ambleside.
Converted into private housing in order to pay for works to St
Mary's spire.
St Anne's was deconsecrated in 1940 although the graveyard remains consecrated
ground.
It is believed a chapel has occupied this site since the 1550's though the
building you see now is of 1812.
